Leadership Residency: 3rd Friday of every Month, Starts 2/16/24- to 1/17/25 from *9:00AM - 2:00PM

This year long program, meeting 1 day/month, calls new health care leaders together to expedite the likelihood of success in their leadership role. New leaders in health care often come from the ranks-employees with good potential for leadership and management but with little training or support. This leadership cohort will provide new leaders and existing with skill building competencies to successfully lead in their role. 9 Sessions virtual and 3 sessions in person (3/16, 6/21, 9/20 from *9am-3pm). Preceptor Bootcamp Training:

This 2-day* program, offered twice, will build teaching & mentoring skills necessary to engage new employees in a way that builds competence and confidence for both learner and mentor. It will provide opportunities for practice and feedback related to the essential skill set for preceptors through simulation learning and role-playing scenarios. Managing Agressive Behavior (MOAB) Train the Trainer:

May 2-3 from 9:00AM-4:00PM- IN PERSON at Lake View Hospital, Two Harbors

MOAB training presents principles, techniques, and skills for recognizing, reducing, and managing violent and aggressive behavior both in and out of the workplace. This workshop will train a trainer to enable them to train employees at your facility. RSVP by 2/1/24.
